Design Team: Colin Miller, Daniel GurwinPizza maker, world traveler, and a former college art student of Louise Fili. That’s Beau Mitall, the creator behind Alberta’s Pizza. Our team was brought in to overhaul the Alberta’s brand as the owner transitioned the business from a food truck to a brick-and-morter concept. References to European typography pay homage to the work of Ms. Fili, a singular force in hand-lettering, restaurant branding, and Italian design styles. With references to New York Subway tiles and traditional touches like hand painted and gold gilded signage, we pay homage to Beau’s personal journey and all the great East Coast red-sauce restaurants.
